Cute Elephants!

I love making cute easy toys! These little elephants are adorable and make great presents. I got the template from my Cath Kidston Sew! book which I really love! It's got so many fantastic designs in it!

I just adapted it and stuffed the nelly's to make these cute little guys!

Teapot Fabric

My housemate Cazz got me a square of this excellent teapot fabric from The Brighton Sewing Centre. It was so amazing I had to go back and buy a metre of the stuff! But what to make with it? Hmmmm....

How to make a patchwork pin cushion

I will readily admit I'm useless at coming up with ideas myself. However, I am good at researching and adapting ideas!

I wanted to make Harri who I work with a pin cushion (at her request) and so stumbled across an excellent blog called Paper.String.Cloth where a full tutorial was given!

I couldn't quite believe how easy it was, so i picked my fabrics and 2 giant buttons and got under way!

I was pretty happy with the end result, I'd chosen to do different designs on each side. These would make excellent presents for crafty friends, and only took me a few hours to make.
