The Make Something Swap Part 2

******THE SWAP IS NOW CLOSED!******

Last year I ran a 'Make Something Swap' here on Skulls & Ponies and it was such a hit that I thought I'd do another! (you can check out some of the handmade and swapped items here. There were so many amazing hand crafted things!)

What is a "Make Something Swap"?
Basically it means you make something and give it to someone else, and in return they make you a gift! There are so many amazingly talented crafters that follow my blog and everyone likes getting post right?

The Rules
  • If you'd like to be part of the swap simply leave a comment on this post. Please make sure I have some way of contacting you so either leave your email address or feel free to email me with the details.
  • The deadline for signing up is April 20th 2012. After that I'll pair up all of the swappers and introduce you via email. It's then up to you to swap addresses, and communicate with each other on what you would like to make.
  • Please only sign up for the swap if you have time to commit to it! Aim to send your swap make within a month.
Advice on what to make
  • Keep it small - unless you are a speedy maker!
  • Email your swap partner - introduce yourself.
  • Find out a bit about them and tell them a bit about you.
  • Tell them what you like, what you don't like and what you might like to receive.
  • Ask your swap partner what they like, tell them what kind of things you make.

There are loads of things you can make - it can be an embroidered picture, a knitted scarf, a sewn purse, a drawing, a handmade card, a necklace, a pincushion, a cushion cover - whatever you like!

If you are struggling for ideas then I'm happy to help.

Please feel free to share this post via twitter, facebook etc or blog about it. The more interest we get the better!

N.B. This is open internationally!
