Now dear readers, this kind of terrified me. I hate any kind of organised sport...and was scared they were going to make me participate in rounders or something. I continued to bug Tom all morning to which his response was "Do you trust your friends??"
So we all got in the car...and off we went, me guessing all the way what it could be. At one point (after asking about a million questions) I asked what the pound stuck in the dashboard was for "It's a secret!!!" Katie yelled. "Oh god...you guys love this don't you? This is what's going to happen forever now." I replied. I am such a control freak - I hate surprises! Needless to say, the girls were all loving it.
So what was the surprise? A carboot scavenger hunt!!!! I was so excited! As you probably have guessed by now I love carbooting and treasure hunts/scavenger hunts are even better! A few Christmases ago - when Katie and I were living together - we decided to do a treasure hunt with clues for each other on Christmas day. It was amazing. We were running around our house like children!
So we randomly picked our lists and were assigned either "Team Fox" or "Team Badger". Katie and I were on Team Fox and off we went - ready for the hunt! We quickly lost Alice and Larah consumed with the lust of victory! I was so excited!

After a good few hours on the hunt we stopped for ice cream and a rest. Oh and of course had a good nose at what we had all bought!
Sadly Team Fox lost to Team Badger. We got 34 points and they got 39!!! Katie and I had managed to find some (fake) medals - so we were glad we got to give them to Alice and Larah. A massive thank you to all 3 of you ladies for making my birthday so memorable!!!
So what did I get I hear you cry!

Cupcake manicure set: £1 (reduced from £2 as bought towards the end of the carboot)
