A brooch pinboard

I've been meaning to make one of these for ages! The idea was from the excellent A Thrifty Mrs who had put a fantastic tutorial together. It's very easy and I made a similar thing last year when I put together this tutorial on how to prettify a pin board (which I still love!)

I had picked up this frame without any glass at a carboot for 50p. The fabric I've had for ages and it used to be a table cloth!

I've got so many lovely brooches that I hardly ever wear I thought it was about time I started showing them off!

Top left - red circular brooch = Handmade by the lovely Mollbird (go check out her folksy shop - she has lots more unique brooches for sale)
Middle left - I've had this venetian mask brooch since I was a kid! It's from Venice. Obvs.
Bottom left - beautiful crocheted brooch made by my Stepmum
Middle - silver tiger - this is my all time favourite and from H&M!
Middle bottom - amethyst cross - given to me by my Gran when I was about 8. She passed away shortly after and so this is one of my treasured possessions.
Top right - bird on a cage - I bought this from an amazing market in Brisbane
Middle right - flamingo - a present from my Mum - I really love flamingoes
Bottom right - a present from Tom - he bought it in Poland when he was out there for a festival
